Modular Seating

This modular seating was designed and built for Pettibone Coffee, a cafe and roastery in Dayton, Ohio. The seating is designed to be movable and therefor multi-functional. I imagine customers will use the furniture as seating as well as a place to set bags or drinks, maybe work on a laptop or sketch pad. The benches are quite sturdy but surprisingly light, allowing them to be shifted and moved to the customers liking. The benches are constructed of 18mm and 12mm plywood and finished with polycrylic.
